Sample letter from a recruitment office seeking applicants
Dear Applicants,
We are a start-up group that is working on a massively multiplayer online game, and are currently assembling a 8-person team to work with us. The project will be running for 2 years, but there are endless possibilities once you join us.
We can’t really give further details about our project, but if you wish to get your foot into the game development industry (or possibly raise your credentials if you’re already a part of it) then you are more than welcome to apply with us!
Interested applicants may send the following to info@game.com:
· A cover letter with your intention to apply with us, containing very brief summaries of your educational background, work history, and your love story with video games. We wish to see your passion for this industry, which is why we require this.
· Your resume with picture.
· Sample works (you can attach it to your email as long as it doesn’t go beyond 3mb; otherwise, send us a link where we can view or download it).
· Compensation and Benefit Expectations
Please make sure to put “Application for [POSITION NAME]” in the subject line .
We do have a website (http://www.applynowgamers.com), but there aren’t too many details on it at the moment.
